The Role:
The Technical Manager will be part of G M Britons Operations Team based at either our Essex or Midlands office dependent on the successful applicants address. The role will incorporate being our NICEIC qualified person as well as maintaining all our HEA, CHAS Accreditations along with full technical support for both depots.
You will be required to attend both our offices to carry out HEA assessments as well as attend site meetings as technical support for our Operations Department. You will arrange all Operatives training in line with the Highway Electrical academy and bring new initiatives to further enhance the companies technical abilities.
You need to be willing to attend training courses to enable you to become our compliance officer for the HEA (Highway Electrical Association) as well as any other courses necessary to fulfil this role in its entirety.
The successful candidate is likely to meet all of the following criteria:
Essential Previous experience in a similar role with NVQ level 3 NICEIC qualified Supervisor qualifications or similar. Driving Licence is essential. Be a Good team worker and also be able to exercise own judgement and able to work independently and make decisions. Be a effective communicator, ability to collaborate and integrate into a wide team, ability to take responsibility and ownership, excellent prioritisation and planning skills, ability to challenge, desire to strive for personal development .
