Our environmental systems are accredited by ISO14001:2004. We recognise the importance of environmental protection and are committed to operating responsibly and in compliance with all legal requirements. We have developed an environmental management system, which includes risk assessments and lays out the methods by which we will control the environmental impact of our works.

Health and safety

We ensure the health, safety and welfare of all our employees, customers and people affected by our works. The company has developed its health and safety policy and arrangements with the assistance of its professional safety consultant, and monitors the safety performance of all of its operations. The company undertakes risk assessment for all of its activities and has developed methods of working to best minimise these risks.

G.M Briton Ltd is registered under the Highways Electrical Academy Sector Scheme for the Registration of Competent Persons, and all operatives are registered under this scheme and hold the CSCS equivalent HEA competency card. We are able to operate in accordance with CDM regulations, and to undertake the responsibilities of a principal contractor where required.
